Well, there's a first time for everything and this is my first blog post. The Bulldogs just lost a tough one. No.3 Arkansas came to town and took 2 out of 3 from the Bulldogs. MSU dominated Friday, Arkansas dominated Saturday, and today went in to extra innings. Even though those in attendance and those listening to Bart & Jim got some free baseball today, the ball did not roll in favor of the Bulldogs and the Hogs win in 11 innings.
My dad always used to quote Casey Stengall (I think) who said that baseball games are largely decided in that one big inning. That everyone should believe in the big inning theory. Heck, God even believed in the big inning theory, because "In the Big-inning, God created the Heavens and the Earth." If you knew my dad, you would probably laugh at that b/c he is always coming up with some kind of comment like that.
I wish I had more to report on, but, considering that this is my first blog post, I am going to keep it relatively short. I have been saving up some great pictures to share with everyone re: my travels to some of the largest cities in our great state, so stay tuned for some great action.
Thanks,
